Important Notice Regarding a Data Security Incident
Dental Implant & Maxillofacial Centre
Date: 29 November, 2025
We are writing to inform you of a recent cybersecurity incident and to provide you with important information about the steps we are taking in response.
On November 26, 2025, we experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to our systems. We immediately took steps to secure our network, partially restore our operations, and launched an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts.
Our investigation is ongoing; however, we have reason to believe that this unauthorized third-party intrusion may have involved a breach of data. While we are working diligently to determine the exact nature and scope of the data involved, we are treating this as a potential compromise of personal information out of an abundance of caution. The affected systems contained personal data such as names, dates of birth, ID numbers, contact details, and health records.
What We Are Doing
We have taken swift action in response to this incident:
Containment: We have contained the incident and are working to restore our systems securely.
Investigation: A full investigation is underway to determine how the incident occurred and what data may be affected.
Authorities Notified: We have reported this incident to the Hong Kong Police, the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team (HKCERT), and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).
Expert Engagement: We have engaged leading third-party data recovery and cybersecurity experts to assist in our recovery and to strengthen our security measures for the future.
What You Can Do
While we have no evidence at this time that any personal data has been misused, we recommend that you remain vigilant. The type of personal data involved carries a risk of identity theft and targeted phishing attempts.
We advise you to:
Be cautious of any unsolicited communications (e.g., emails, phone calls, SMS) that ask for your personal data or attempt to redirect you to unfamiliar websites.
Verify the identity of anyone who contacts you using your personal details before providing any further information.
Report any suspected identity theft or phishing attempts to the relevant authorities.
We understand the concern this incident may cause and deeply apologize for any inconvenience. The trust you place in us is our most important asset, and we are committed to protecting your information.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available. If you have immediate questions, please contact us at info@disc-hk.com.
